Clowning Around event at Barrington

Saturday October 17 the Clowning Around event returns to Barrington Elementary. Come out for some good fun and a chance to meet candidate Johnson.

Senior Center Forum

Tuesday October 20 from 2-4pm the candidates will discuss issues with UA seniors at the Upper Arlington Senior Center.

UA Chamber of Commerce Forum

Wednesday October 21 from 11am-1pm the UA Chamber of Commerce will host a candidate forum.

Leadership UA Candidates Night Debate

Thursday October 22 from 6-8:30pm Leadership UA will host a free candidates night debate at the Municiple Services Center in the City Council Chamber. Come meet the candidates and hear about their positions on the issues that matter to you.

Wednesday October 7 from 5-9pm the UA Art of Hosting group will come together to talk about community conversations.

UA School Funding Meeting

Wednesday October 7 from 7-8pm a discussion about UA Schools funding will take place that candidate Debbie Johnson will attend.

Clean Energy Forum

Wednesday October 7 from 7-9pm at the Hastings Middle School Auditorium. Candidate Debbie Johnson won’t be able to attend this event herself as she will be at the AoH and School Funding Meetings that night but she will be sending a surrogate to better understand the concerns of residents around this important issue.

UA Fall Festival at Fancyburg Park

Sunday, October 11 from 2pm-6pm bring the family out to Fancyburg Park for some great family fun and a chance to meet candidate Debbie Johnson.

Thursday, October 15 from 3pm-5pm the City of UA will host a conversation about the Stay UA program in an attempt to find a workable solution for sustaining this important program. Candidate Debbie Johnson plans to attend this conversation.

Volunteer UA Expo: Where Communities & Good Causes Connect

Wednesday, September 23 Municipal Services Center, 4-7 p.m. City of Upper Arlington, 583-5326. An exciting partnership of five Upper Arlington community organizations is working to promote and cultivate the many volunteer needs and opportunities that support and enrich our day-to-day-lives. The evening includes an exhibit fair with light refreshments, to be followed by a Volunteer UA program to promote and encourage volunteerism in and around our community. Traffic Calming Workshops

UACA Labor/Neighbor Day

Monday, September 7. All Day, UA Civic Association St. Andrews Church parking lot, 614-559-1194. The UA Civic Association is proud to present its Labor Neighbor Day celebration. Due to construction at Kingsdale, the annual bike races and pet show are moving to the St. Andrews Church parking lot on Reed Road. Music in the Parks

The Upper Arlington Cultural Arts Commission presents Music in the Park at the Municiple Center on Thursday August 6, 2009 from 6:30-8pm. Weather permitting this will be outdoors on the lawn and it is a great family friendly event. Debbie Johnson will be there enjoying the tunes along with you and giving her an opportunity to meet you and hear your thoughts about our great community.
